Richard II

Time Lord Victorious
Saw the play with lastincurableromantic and we were in the fron row!!!! OMG David Tennant was less than three feet from us! The play was amazing - everything was amazing from acting to costuming to set design. I swear we had dt spittle on us LOL! It really was an amazing experience. We went back that night and waited almost two hours in the cold with lots of other Tennant fans to get a good spot for an autograph and yep, I got one! I will have to post more including pics. Wifi is a bit spotty. Anyway,

Is it strange that this turned me on a little bit? ;) And then I wondered, is it okay to clean that skin now? Because it has Tennant on it!

The set pictures I've seen are fantastic--I hope they can reconstruct the effect in London, because I honestly didn't know a set could look that marvelous.

:D that you got an autograph--have a good rest of the trip!

Elorie you will love it!!!! It was so so good - even better than I imagined. It's all in period costume and the sets were amazing! We did the backstage tour in SuA and it was one of my favorite parts of the trip. I am still in awe that I got to go and sit that close to the stage. I don't know what it will be like in London but the stage in SuA was a thrust forward stage so actors were running by us as well as on stage. Everyone was just so good! I am so excited for you to go on your trip :) My friend is still there as she's attending the Doctor Who convention. It was a super busy trip and we did nothing but run run run. I do have some pics from the Doctor Who Experience in Cardiff (Ten's old TARDIS) and the on set tour of Eleven's TARDIS as well. Trying to recover now. I'm really tired but happy I got to go :)

I'm so happy they went with period costume! The Barbican is having a Richard II tour, hopefully I'll be able to do one while I'm there! I'm not sure but I think the Barbican stage is a little more traditional, I can hope though! I'm excited myself, just a little nervous and stressed about logistic stuff. I'd love to go on the tour of Eleven's TARDIS but they'll be done with it before I'm there, alas! And hee, you need a post vacation vacation? :D
